Facilities

• Community Store: Open 9:00-12:00 & 3:00-5:00 weekdays and 9:00-11:00 on Saturdays.

Nganmarriyanga Store is owned and operated by Nganmarriyanga Council and sells everything from baked beans to ice-cream and batteries to spoons. The Store also has a large selection of clothing.

The Store employs one Non-Aboriginal Manager and six local Indigenous people. Plans are well underway for the Council to build a new Store/Take-away/Fuel distribution complex in the Dry season of 2004.

• Fuel distribution is currently the responsibility of Palumpa Station. Petrol and diesel are available. The Station Workshop should be contacted for opening hours on 08 89782513.

• Council Office opening hours are 8:30-12:00 & 1:00-4:30 weekdays.

The Nganmarriyanga Council Office provides all the financial services available in the Community. These include a Centrelink agency, Banking issues, ATM access, and Public Phone access.
